I have a Remington 870 super mag that shoots 3.5" I was looking at putting a 18 or 20" barrel. I was told the barrels for all the 870s would not fit my reciever. Is this true? I can't seem to find anything else on the internet.

NOT TRUE AT ALL. My HD shotgun is a 870 Super Mag with a 18" barrel. You just can't shoot 3.5" shells. You must use 3" or under shells.
