The way this country is today, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see people or politicians praising the terrorists that did it.

Can see that day like yesterday. Finished up PT, was changing when the news came on with the planes. Headed to work and raised my right hand. A lot of things transpired in the 17 years after that day, some good, some bad, but I wouldn’t change any of the choices made and the people I got to work with. Some people truly don’t know what kind of person is beside them on any given day, ready to defend their way of life without even a thanks.

It seems really odd to "like" that, but there's no way to easily nod, tip the cap and acknowledge you're both part of a shared experience in suckitude few "normies" can understand. All my best to the missus.
