I am using a Lee 124gr tumble lube mold TL356-124-2R with wheel weights. I have used titegroup (no leading poor accuracy), W231(horrible leading), and have just loaded some 800x but not tested. I am shooting out of Sig P-6's. I have used Unique with purchased bullets with good accuracy but lots of smoke, to the point I could not see the target. I have also considered getting a small electric oven and heat treating the bullets.

5.6-6.3gr AA#5 works well with that boolit in my p-6. no leading, no excessive smoke. holds 1/2" at 50ft from the ransom. do you lube with the alox? cutting it 50/50 with some mineral spirits prior to application will also cut down on the smoke with no lack of friction reduction.

Unique is dirty stuff, try some Power Pistol, it runs much cleaner for me using 124 and 145gr LRN's.

Heat treating the bullets isn't going to help you, they need to be water quenched from the start. You're going to do more harm than good when they sit on the pan heating up and sagging.

I've also had good luck with B/eye but PP works excellent for the subsonic stuff I've been feeding my dad's suppressed EBR.

I've gone to using WST for nearly all auto pistol loads with lead bullets. It's pretty economical and smokes the least of anything else I've tried.

That is correct, but some powders do smoke a lot more than others with lead bullets. Clays is also a pretty clean choice.
