I just wanted to share a recent experience with Long Rifles Inc. I had finally decided to send off my my favorite bolt gun out to have a muzzle brake installed . I have been shooting 208's out of my .300 Win Mag lately and just couldn't stay on target anymore , getting old I guess .
I had decided on Badger's FTE brake and was just looking for a good smith to handle the machining . I despise shipping firearms but don't believe I have any good local smiths in Illinois . I picked Chad due to some of the amazing attention to detail that I have seen here . All I can say is that I'm very glad I did ! The brake threads on and off like you are turning a fine roller bearing . The new crown is also a thing of beauty . On top of all that if was turned around in just a few short days .
In short , the rifle is going to go back to Chad when it's time for a new barrel . I couldn't be happier and wanted to share my experience . Here is a quick pic of the end result .
