Since the Pit gets more traffic, I figured I'd link the post here for discussion (outside the local match forum).
Suffice it to say, it was a good day shooting, and highlights the value that the shooting community can bring to some of our military shooters. Perhaps I'm just idealistic, but I found it very rewarding working with a bunch of top notch military shooters who came with an open mind, and were surprised and grateful for the cross training opportunity to learn what the "civilian" side of the house has been up to the past few years. There were a LOT of good discussions about TTP's, getting shooters off their bellies, and training for practical long range engagements. It was (at least personally) a very rewarding day indeed.
