I noticed after my first match with my new khales k525i my ocular lense (diopter adjustment) has some up and down and side to side play (it made the reticle look like it was moving) . Some have told me this is unusual and khales customer service even told me to send it in for a diagnosis, So I mailed it to them.

Well they received the scope and went threw it and declared there was nothing wrong with it and the "issue I have" would not affect the scopes performance. They offered to send it to Austria for a even more in depth look into the scope aswell.

What do you think, Is this something you have seen in your kahles?
Do you think this is something to be concerned with? Or am I just being over dramatic?

I have many scopes, none of them has play in the diopter adjustment ring or the ocular. I would also say if there is "nothing wrong with it" why would they offer to send it to Austria, I would take them up on that offer.

Sounds like they are saying yes the diopter shouldn’t move like that, but it’s not enough to affect the performance.

If you can be without the optic for a bit, I’d just have them send it to Austria and fix it.
