yesterday me and the brother in law blew off some steam (hes a truck driver fully certified but can't lower his blood pressure to get another job, which is causing it to rise more) anyways after the first couple of rounds my uppr started smoking heavily, i figured that since i wiped it down the day before that i might have just left too much oil in it i left a light sheen on bolt carrier, this is the second time i have fired the gun and now has 300 rounds down the tube. for the next 90 rounds it did the same thing (i figured the oil would have burned off by then). last night was the first time i cleaned the barrel, after shooting it the time before i cleaned everything minus the barrel. is this anything i need to worry about? one more thing the barrel got pretty warm, and discolored, did i just fuck up my new rifle? we didn't do any ammo dumps or anything like that, but we were shooting kinda quickly maybe about a 30 round magazine in 10-15 seconds. when i got home i took the rails off and wiped it down with oil (another light coat) is there anything else i can do to better take care of my noveske

Its normal. There dont have to be any ammo dumps but several rounds like double taps, or a couple magazine the barrel will smoke. It sounds fine.
