Do you guys bring your factory ammo to the range in the boxes they come in, or do you bring it in those plastic reloading supply storage boxes?

Forgot to mention. I'll be saving my brass, so I would think the containers would help keep the brass together and keep the cardboard from blowing around.

I take the factory boxes to the range. Ammo comes in heavey plastic seperators which are comparable to the reloaod boxes.
I keep my shooting area policed up so blowing boxes don't cause problems or distractions.

Factory boxes. Shoot one put it back in the holder, slows you down, makes you regain proper position.

If I am just going to the range and burning factory fodder, then I just drop the factory packaging in the range bag. If I am running a competition where I can get soaked, crawling through brush or what not, then I repack my ammo in my Ammo Burritos, since I don't have enough AI mags to load all of my ammo.

Use factory boxes...brass goes back in them at the end of the day.

I use the factory boxes. I also keep them and use them for my reloads (I'm a cheap bastard). Those nice little 20 round plastic holders work well at the range.

i would just take the factory boxes, most manufacturs have some sort of shell holder device so you can put the empties back into them, i would think it more of a hastle to put it into a separate plastic contaner befor going to the range than to just pull them out of boxes when i am there

I use the factory boxes the ammo came in. Just my way of recycling both the boxes and the brass.
