Here are some additional pics that I took while developing the ASP.

These images show how it works with different ghillie bases. I also wanted to show how it looks with a load-out of gear.

We didn't make the pouches. They're simply serving as examples of how you can configure the system. The pouches were complimentary from G.W. over at Tactical Tailor.

This system feels really comfortable, even with a full load.

You can see the matching chaps in one of the images, but until the design is finalized, thats as close of a look as I'm going to allow

Now that you mention it, there sure did seem to be a lot of guys who wanted to partner up with me for IV practice at my combat lifesaver course!

Ouch! Guess I set myself up for that! All good gents... Haven't crossed that line and don't plan to, but definately like my NO drinks and thermos.

After 21 years of keepin up on some pretty grueling workouts and a consistent diet, I take comments like those as a bit of a compliment.

As my Capt. in the Corps said ,a man should not go through life with little arms.

One thing I have enjoyed in life is pumping iron and now I'm paying for it with a hernia but thats all part of having some guns.

Very nice work, what kind of materials are you using?

I don't know much about this stuff, but I know Crye Precision is making high quality futuristic gear. If you need some inspiration you should take a look at their designs if you haven't already.

The chest and shoulder harness are made with 1000d cordura and lined with mid-weight mil. grade mesh. The sleeves are 330 untreated cordura and elbow/forearm skids are 1000d cordura as well.

I've actually tried the ASP (without sleeves) with Crye Precisions combat shirt and it worked great in combination. It works really well with the USMC FROG combat shirt too!

Our main production model will be made with Crye's Multicam. The sleeves will be offered with 50/50 NYCO ripstop. We also ordered some of their new Multicam mid-weight mesh which is being considered for the sleeves as well.

Nice, Multicam would be my first choice for camo. And good work on testing various materials, that setup looks like it could get pretty hot in jungle conditions unless you get the right mix of materials. Will you offer special configurations for intended weather conditions like a winter and summer ASP?

Do the Crye combat shirts come with integrated elbow pads? I'd imagine those, along with integrated knee pads, would be ideal for snipers who are crawling on the ground for extended periods of time.

VIET, your balls would be just fine. This is a retention strap to keep the lower skid in place when backing up in the low-crawl position. The strap is adjustable and is intended to be worn loosely. It is a feature we use on our Mamba suits too. I believe their are other ghillie suit manufacturers that use this method successfully as well.
