A2 Flash hider

I am looking at installing an A2 flash hider on my Remington 700 5r gen2 308 20”. 2 reasons - protect crown, reduce muzzle flash to shooter. I like the look at A2s and they are short. Any reason not to? The rifle has 5/8x24 threads and there are plenty of 30 caliber A2s out there. It is primarily a hunting rifle so I carry on 4 wheeler and through the woods and it gets used alot.

Sounds like a good idea. If you have a favorite load for it you might have to tweak it a little.
