Just bought a savage 12LRP in 260 remington.
Right now im working on getting supplies together to reload.
Looking on the boards most everyone is using H4350, but i cant find any of this local.
I did however find some accurate 4350.
Anyone that can tell me how this powder compares to H4350
I have Hornady 140g amax and bthp, as well as 140g berger hybrid's.

Thanks

My chart shows Accurate Arms XMR-4350 to be faster than both IMR4350 and Hodgdon H4350, how much faster? That's the problem with burn rate charts they are NOT incremental and can not be used safely for load development-just guessing. Find some pressure tested (factory data) data for a safe starting point with your AA powder. Don't take my word for it, however; in my own testing, if I were you, I'd start at 35.5 grains and somewhere around 38.5 has worked for me, again this is just me.

Right now A4350 is all i can find.
Ive got the hi and low load data for it ect .
Just wondering if anyone has any personal experiance with it in a savage 12 lrp .260.
Should i waste bullet trying to find a load with this powder ect?

if you email accurate they do email back very quick in my experience during business hours. I just asked them last week the same thing, but a4350 and the 6.5 creedmoor. It should be a good combo.

I tried some in my .260 with the 140 Amax, and it shot well. I don't have my loading data in front of me, but I remember it was somewhere near the middle of the load range.

I go 43.2 of H4350, and my .260 shoots ridiculously well. The OP's statement that "most everyone is using h4350" is right. Hence the reason why there is none left to buy!

43.2 a4350 to work pretty well in my rifle, with 140g amaxs, and 43.9 a4350 with 139g scenars. However i am getting flyers.
I think it may be due to seating depth.
Anyone with a Savage 12lrp .260 found what seating depth works best in thier's.

My recent experience with AA 4350 is that it is a bit slower than H4350. I am +1 grain over my H4350 load with 140 bullets to find the similar velocity with similar apparent pressure. I have noticed it is more temperature sensitive. It shoots very well and is consistent...so no complaints..
I have had similar results with the 6mm Creedmoor loads as well. This is new lot from Canada.
