Does AAC build its suppressors in batches or one at time as ordered? I was told 1 month on a 6.8mm M4-2000 from my dealer. Needless to say it's been a good bit longer than that so far. I am prepared to wait as long as it takes and have no desire to be a bother to anyone. More or less just curious what their production system is. Thanks!

Used to be batches. Now that they are part of the big green machine, they may have changed.
I'm sure your dealer is telling you what they tell him on production time, which is, a lie.
AAC makes a GREAT product but, you need to find what you want from a dealer that has one in stock. Good luck.

I am not sure about the month, hopefully its not twice as long as their "two weeks"
Seen to have alot of things going on right now. I have been waiting for "two weeks" for the N-6 for a while now.
I am pretty sure that they build in batches, just a guess from the pics they post though.

usually when you buy from a dealer and the item is not in stock they have to wait while the suppressor transfers to them on a Form 3 which takes 3-4 weeks... which is why most people say buy from a dealer that HAS the item.
after it is transfered to the dealer it then goes on a Form 4 and you wait 80-100 days.
don't you just love this streamlined system!!!

I am now over 18 months waiting for Titan. I am begining to wonder if it will really happen. I would also recommending finding one in stock if possible.

What really turns my crank with the streamlined system.......
Even if they approved an item for me last week, the new item still takes 3 months. Come on!!! Run a quick check on me. If I haven't become a felon since the last item cleared, run me through!!!

it is best to find one in stock if you can by going on the net and getting it transferred to a dealer in your are on a Form 3 because if not, you probably just bought yourself another 2-4 months of wait time before you get to start your Form 4 for ATF to transfer it to you. I did that route once and learned if it can be found in stock it is better but if not, then patience is truly a virtue.

They run them in batches. Use up the same material and tooling so they don't have to keep switching back and forth. They are also made per dealer demand, and of course the military. One of the reasons they dropped the price of the QD-Ti Titan was the fact that they sold a huge lot of them to military contract.
I usually only buy in stock suppressors regardless of who the maker is!

Always buy in stock. I just learned my lesson. Ordered my Ti-rant in October and it arrived to my dealer two days ago. Still waiting for the M4-1000 I ordered then too.

The first AAC can, M4-1000 took two weeks, then I ordered a Titan QD 13 months ago and nada. I went by the AAC booth at the Shot Show earlier this year and the rep told me that they are maxed out on production to fulfill a government contract. Hurry up and wait.....and wait....and wait.....

The QD Titans are showing up hear and there. I got several in the other day from AAC. From my understanding, since the Army got the contract, they have a dedicated line to only build that suppressor. So any left over that they don't have to deliver to the mil, they form 3 them out to their dealers.

2K is the retail pricing on the Titans. With the Army buying these up, they have since dropped the pricing down from the 3500 they were before.

I canceled my Titan 338 order after waiting 8 months, when I talked to the production manager at SHOT and he didn't even have a production date for me. I'll not buy from them again. They said the cans were in stock when I placed my order.

Bryon is the highest volume dealer in the country and he has the best prices. He can be tricky to track down at times but, great to deal with. Give him a call.
...He needs the business, obviously he could use a bigger truck. lol.

AAC can be hit and miss. I placed an order in early Feb for a M4-2K and Ti-RANT 9 and was told 6 weeks. They just shipped today. I placed an order for a bunch of stuff a couple weeks later and the M4-2000s came in two weeks ago.
