I cant find any reviews or feedback on AAC's fast attach muzzle brakes. I am thinking of picking up one of the 7.62 ones for my FNAR. I was just wondering how effective of a brake it is compared to the likes of the SJC Titan etc. All inputs appreciated.

Re: AAC muzzle brake, any feedback?

The break works great. I had a Bene Cooley on my LR308 and I would say this is just as effective. If you need a break and a QD 7.72 mount, this is the only way to go.

Re: AAC muzzle brake, any feedback?

The break works great on its own and as a QD mount for my 7.62 SD can. I have the break on a 5R .308. I also have and use a "Blackout 18T" as a QD mount on my AR. The Blackout has a distinct "ping" to it when shot both with and without the suppressor. It's no big deal but you can hear it (sounds like a tuning fork). The break is a little more expensive but worth it.

Re: AAC muzzle brake, any feedback?

I have an AAC brake on one of my AR's. It's cool as a mount but not that spectacular as a brake.

I really like the Surefire 556 brakes. They keep the muzzle stable and are QUIET.

They work well, especially if you have a can to mount on it! If you want it just as a brake, get a PWS brake or a JP Enterprises Recoil Eliminator. Then kiss your shooting buddies goodby, because they aren't going to want to shoot next to you!

Friend of mine has the PWS brake on his AR. It's VERY unpleasant for whoevers beside it, and VERY effective!
