Suppressors AAC Tirant 45 short piston on M&P

Anyone try it; most say that the guide rod won't clear the suppressor; but it looks the guide rod clears the threads on the barrel. The unthreaded part on the barrel is close to the FN tactical; but not quite, which the short piston is supposed work on. So I am a little unclear as to why it wouldn't work?

Put it on and work the slide back to check it. If in doubt, use the long piston. You already have a 9 inch can hanging from the end of your pistol, another 1/4 inch wont hurt.
