I have inputted all my data into the AB app, and can not get the readings to match reality. Though I have only been able to shoot out to 400 yards at this point.

Rifle setup:
MPA built 6.5 creedmoor on TL3 action, 20 moa base.
26" barrel, 1:8, chambered for Hornady 140ELD-M
Vortex AMG mrad in Spuhr 3002 mount.
TBAC ultra 9 in 6.5.

Shooting Hornady 140 ELD-M factory ammo.

Had a few odd fps reading on magneto speed, but the average was 2760 fps.

when setting up software used the above information.
Additional rifle was 2.5" scope offset., Correction factors of 1.0 on both.

Ammo setup was done accounting for all environmental from my Kestrel as follows.

Bullet length 1.374, 2760 fps, 70 degrees, custom drag model from them for the 140 edl-m. Zero at 100, offsets 0, altitude 705, humidity 50%.

At this point I plugged in the current shooting conditions, only change was temp at 59. Adjusting the fps to 2727.

at this point the trajectory tells me to adjust 1.0 up and 300 and 1.8 at 400. When in reality I only needed .7 at 300 and 1.4 at 400.

To get the 300 and 400 yard values to line up, I had to adjust the temp to 150 degrees, or an adjusted velocity of 3000 fps. I did not put the magneto speed to see what was up with velocities, but thought I mush be doing something wrong.

Thanks for any help.

you 100% sure your rifle is zeroed at 100yds? Your actual comeups at 300 and 400 sounds like its zeroed at 150yds or somewhere close. The AB data - 1.0 and 1.8 - sound dead nuts on. I would be very impressed if you were out shootin in 150*F weather - damn impressed :)

Here was initial group. Adjusted and took last shot for cross section.

Distance measured with radius and kilo 2200.

I'd recheck your zero and make sure you not a little high at 100 dead nuts. I'm running almost the exact set up as you with the same bullet at 2758 from a magnetospeed and seeing .4 mils at 200 and 1.6 at 375. This is at basically a 0 ft DA.

Also, how many rounds on the rifle and how many since you chronod? Might still be speeding up if it's new.

I did the chrono on rounds 20-30, I now have 60 on the rifle. I will check zero and chrono tomorrow.
