AB Raptor-10

Who all runs an AB Raptor? Anything you can compare against? I’ve got a KGM R30 and love it but want something quiet and shorter for a hunting rifle.

I’m looking for a new can and was intrigued. Thinking about a Raptor-10 with the 5” reflex. Curious what others experiences with the AB cans

I was just at suppressor only match AB sponsored it. The AB 10 sounds better than my kgm30 I would say it close to my Magnus SR. I didn’t see any issue all weekend with guys from Illinois who borrowed AB cans. I wouldn’t be scared of them.

I run two of them, one a direct thread and one with a Silencerco bravo quick disconnect.

Like them enough I bought the second one. Good sound reduction without braking the bank.

Are you referencing the a10 warthog? Was curious about that one as well. Initially thinking the raptor though.

Preciate the initial responses. Anyone run one with the Reflex mount?

I was shooting with guys with reflex mount and raptor 8’s and 10s they sounded good to me.

I use a Raptor 10 with the reflex on a 300 PRC. Sounds better than an SF 300SPS, 7.62 RC2, YHM Resonator R2 or Huxwrx Ventum. The only other 30 cal cans I have access to.

I have 2. They have very good tone and suppression. Run one on 300WM and 300NM and one on a 6.5C. Would not hesitate to buy another.

I have limited experience with the raptor 10 I have, it's a .375 can with the reflex, I think it's 3", may be 4", i'm too lazy to turn around a measure it, i'm on my lunch break.

When I first brought it home, I stuck it on my 8 twist 308 with subs, and it's very noticeably quieter than my silencerco harvester I normally have on it, and the harvester is the quietest of all the others I have. The extra volume really helps the sound reduction. I haven't done any accuracy testing, or really anything other than listened to it for a few shots, giggled, and then said to myself I need to get off my ass and get the 375 raptor rifle build started....which I still haven't started...damnit.

I shot that match too! It was so nice shooting suppressed all weekend

I've shot with someone with the A10 and it's quiet. I was using a Hux and there also was a Griffin Optimus. That A10 was the quiet one but boy was it gassy at the port (we were running semi-autos).
