? about AICS chassis and Badger actions

I have a shooting companion that wants to sell a 2.0 LA stock. If I were to put a Badger action on it, would I need to I let it? Is the Badger wider or deeper than a AICS action?

Yes, it will need to be inletted. The bottom of the Badger action is flat with two recoil lugs.
