Is this an acceptable amount of copper in a brand new DD barrel? Does this look normal? None of my other new dd barrels had this much when purchased, if it’s GTG please let me know.

I doubt that’s a new barrel, if it is, you may contact whoever you bought it from and ask them why it has so much copper in the grooves.
So much copper, china is going to start attempting to establish a relationship to open trade deals.
Never shot fresh out of the package gonna return this probably paid too much for all that crap
I've seen new barrels actually peel off pieces of jacket when they were new. You could see the pieces embedded in the target backer.
Does DD test fire at the factory? If they do it may explain the fouling. Shoot it and see how it does.
