Has anyone tried 165 accubond for a hunting load? If so what is the load you are using and how did it perform.

I tried it in my 5R and my best group was not under 1 inch. I was using Varget and I tried many seating depth combinations and charge differences. The best charge I got was 44gr but no matter what depth I tried it would just not group. I am going to try something else. I went through 1.5 boxes of the Accubonds and had no luck.
Since this is for hunting I am looking for a seating depth somewhere between 2.80 and 2.845 because that is what fits the magazine.

Hmm, I run them in my GAP Rock with Lapua brass, CCI BR2 primer and 44gr of Varget and they group right around 5/8" for 5 at a hundred. With the same charge of Varget and 168gr Ballistic tips they have the same POI out to 300 yards so I load up the Accubonds just for hunting and shoot with the BT's for practice and longer shots.
