I was wondering will any other cartridge feed well through a Accuracy International 300 win mag 5 round magazine. I currently have a long action AI AX chassis which came with 300 win magazines and was wondering what other options were out there.

yeah, i just put together a build on a AX and i said in the notes to give me a .338 LM magazine.....what did i get.... a 300 wm.
The build is a .300 RUM, regardless if it was the .338 or .300 magazine it still needed modified. I modified it last weekend and it seems to work but i don't have much room in the OAL category.
So in short... it will work for larger cartridges but you will need to modify it by taking the front reinforcement rib out for some calibers like the .300RUM
