Recently purchased a used Accuracy International AT folding stock. It's in great shape. Question is, When in the folded or extended position there is play in the folding mechanism. Not saying it's loose or wobbly but I've always heard that AI chassis lock up tight with no movement. Please advise if this is normal or if I should have it looked at. Since I've never owned a folder I look to the Hide for advice. Thanks in advance for your time.

I have two AX chassis, a Mk I, and a Mk II. There is no discernible play in the hinge, regardless of whether its folded or not. I would assume the AT uses the same hinge, but I could be wrong. Call the guys at Mile High Shooting Accessories. They’ll get you sorted out.

That isn't normal in my experience. I've had a chassis, AIAT, and an AIAE MKIII. All were solid...maybe a bit too much sometimes actually as far as actually pushing the button to fold them.
