Accuracy International AX chassis questions

Will the longer 16" forend from the long action AX chassis fit the short action chassis?

I am wanting a 16" forearm on a short action AX chassis but Accuracy International said they won't sell the longer forend at this time. They also said the short action is only available with the 13" forend

Any help is appreciated.
