Accuracy International AX Series Questions

Just have a few questions about the Accuracy International AX system. Thanks in advance for any helpful responses.

Does anyone make aftermarket skins or adapters that would allow using AR compatible pistol grips with the AX? Never been a big fan of AI's grips, thumb-hole, pistol, or otherwise.

The bolt side folding stock is a useful option, but the hinge hardware looks like it protrudes out quite a bit. Has anyone had any issues with their hands knocking against it when manipulating the bolt?

And lastly, with the introduction of the quick change barrel system to their short action AX line, has anyone switched between 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrels and would care to give a report on how it worked out for them?

I've converted a current model AX and AXMC to 6.5 creed and had zero issues whatsoever. I've also converted an AW from 308 to 6.5 creed to 6XC with no issues either.

The hinge was not a problem for me.

I change between 308 and 260 in my AT without a problem. I love how simple it is!

1. No on pistol grip. Won't work. Personally, I think you just need time getting used to it and you'll learn why its designed the way it is. My two cents.

2. No issues with hinge whatsoever.

3. I have converted back and forth to a ton of calibers. Takes a few minutes if I'm lazy. Super easy. My 12 year old daughter that knows nothing about guns can do it if I asked.
