Here is a part that will covert your AI rifle to a rail mounted bipod configuration. The rail mounts in the slot on the bottom of your forend. Enables you to use your LRA, Atlas, Harris or any other rail mounted bipod without the use of the spigot. The AI spigot mounted bipod is good, but I did find myself fighting gravity to keep the rifle vertical, bubble centered and cant negated when using a rear bag. I paid $65 for the rail online, retail is $89 for the part. Here is a photo of a LRA bipod on my AIAW. Very solid setup.
