Have you tried going through Mile High Shooting? I'm not sure if they carry barrels but they're a respected AI dealer with a Hide discount.

Contact SRT Supply or Mile High Shooting Supply. They are AI distributors.

Mile high and SRT stated they cannot ship a barrel to me because of new Accuracy int policy, I would have to ship my rifle which defeated the whole premis behind these rifles. I have been trying to get someone to answer this question for months but MH will not respond on he hide. Maybe Mr Irwin can chime in?

I second this. GA's product will be as good and probably better than a Factory AI.

To be honest...with as long as you've been going on about this. You could have shipped your rifle to George...he probably could have had a new barrel on it, and your headspacing on file for the future.

^^^ I disagree with Poison, you should be able to order a barrel, it's a selling point and one of my loves of the AW/AX

Mr poison 123 I have had george turn me many barrels, my inquiry is to why MH or srt wont ship and as to why AINA won't respond. George is a great smith and turns all my barrels , but it is always good to know what is going on with the few AIAW distributors in case I need a barrel right now. I am not trying to cause any controversy, I am only trying to educate myself for future use. It is always good to have a back up plan. Once again I do not deviate from GAP but I am always curious as to why things like this happen. It is the nature of my personality to want to know how and why things like this happen.
