I think you would be better buying a Rem 700 SPS and going from there...

Never heard anything about them, not saying that it's a horrible thing. Most on here are loyal to different custom rifle builders than the one you mentioned for certain reasons, reputation being one of them.

Carl is a great guy to deal with and you won't be disappointed by his work . He build me a custom Mini Grendel and some other smith work on Mini 14, AR's and Rem 700. I would not hesitate to have him build me another rifle.

Hey thanks for the reply. Do they offer life time warranty?
One thing that i was bummed about was when i asked for a price quote he bumped the price up by 200 hundred bucks from what was posted on the net. It just seemed odd that a company would do that and not post it. Kinda had a dishy feeling about it. Ill probably stick with it though.
