accurate 2495

looks like cabelas has accurate 2495 instock right now (6/19/13 4:19 pm pacific).ive been powder hunting online for the past hour or so with no luck at all. i was looking for something for reloading 308 and the popular stuff like varget, reloader 15, 4064 or 4895 are practically non-existant. thought somebody might want to jump on it

It's Accurate's 4895 equivalent. They kinda hosed up years ago not calling it AA4895 (like Hodgdon's H-4895).

Burn rate is close to H4895 and IMR 4895. Should be equivalent performance in 7.62 and 5.56 hand loads.

I've had good performance from Accurate 2495 in the past. 41.7 gr with a 175 gr Nosler Custom Comp in Winchester cases and CCI primers would give regular groups under .5" from my .308. For me it seemed to only work in a narrow range of bullet/charge combinations but if one needs powder, what the heck. It works. Also good in 30-06.
