How's this powder match up to Varget for an accuracy load in .223 and 69g SMK? I've heard World Championship BR matches have recently been won w/ this powder in 6PPC. Haven't heard how it does running in .223.

Is there anyone using LT-32 in .223? I just bought some and I would appreciate some real world data before I start working up loads. I'll be using Lapua, Fed205M or Rem71/2, 69gSMK. Looking to shoot out to 600 w/ a 20" 9twist.

It is on the order of benchmark / AA 2015

faster than you want for 69/ 77 gr

George,
What load did you start to see pressure signs? Grains, velocity and what barrel length? Thanks

do not keep the details on combinations that do not work out, but basically at the published max there was already pressure signs and the case fill was less than 90%

for the same reason that XBR 8208 did not become much of a hit with the BR loads (slower than the original 8208 ) it is the similar powder - (short cut single base ) that is very well suited to 69 / 77 gr .223

I use 22g of LT-32 with SMK 69g lapua brass cci br-4 primers. 24in muller works barrel 7 twist. I'm shooting 1/4 MOA groups with an SD of 5.
