Accurate mag

I have a steel accurate mag 10 round magazine that I can only get 9 rounds into, has anyone else ever had this issue or found a fix for it?

I had similar issue with 308 mag...10th creed round was very tough. Is it a 308 mag or creed mag?

It's the mag that came with a 65 creedmoor rifle so I would have to say it's a 65 creedmoor magazine

I can get 10 of 6.5 creed in my accurate mag, but if I remember correctly, the last round is a bit of a pita to get in there. I’ll check when I get home and report back.

Haha. Mine does this with my 308. Getting in 9 is a struggle. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

I've got two accurate mags. I shoot 260. No problem at all getting 10 in.

There is a spacer in the bottom. You can remove and it works fine. That’s what I did after they told me about the spacer. Had to stand on it otherwise lol

When I first got my Accurate mags I could only fit 9 in. I loaded them up with 9 and let them sit a day or so to let the spring compress. I can fit 10 in fairly easy now. Also make sure you're seating the back of the round against the back of the mag. I feel that helps as well.

So we struggle with 10 and you guys get 11-12?

AI mags are like that. I have a couple that get 11 but a couple that can only get 10.

.308 and 6.5 Creedmoor use the same mags so no difference as far as capacity. If you can only get 9 then maybe take it apart and look inside the mag body or spring for any issues. You should be able to get at least 10.
