What's the deal with accurate ordnance? I was looking at a used .308 with the rebranded stiller tac30 and bartlein bbl. what's a ballpark price for the cerakoted barreled action? Need something for my kids to shoot when they come with me.

I took a chance based on several positive reviews from the Hide. Glad I did. STAND UP FOLKS. Very easy to deal with. Picked up a 6.5 CTX from them and it is a professionally assembled bad ass accurate rifle. Second order should be none soon. Just waiting on the Manners stock.

I picked up one of their barreled actions in .308 last time they ran a special on the hide. I dropped it in an AI chassis and headed off to the range. This pic is the first 5 shot group after two shots to zero. I am extremely pleased with their work.

+1 on Accurate Ordnance. They donated an accurized and Cerakoted CZ455 in a Manners stock that I won off the prize table at the 2012 Sniper's Hide Cup. Later I had Elgordo on here spin me up a new bolt handle, and AO Cerakoted it for me to match the original, all at no charge, which they didn't have to do at all.....

No need to look any further. A great shop with great people working for them. When I first started hanging out here back on the old hide, I was looking for a precision gun. Over in the used section I found an AO with a Pierce Action, Rock Creek bbl and an AIAX chassis. The gun was advertised as unfired. Called up Mark and we spoke a bit, they had, indeed, built the gun but it was test fired by them. Long story shortened a bit, I ordered a Bushnell H2DMR in 3.5x21 and a Spuhr mount and off I went to the range with 100 rounds of Hornady 6.5 CM 123g Amax ammo. Got the rifle sighted in and shot a bunch of groups with it, worst was .45 outside to outside, best was .36 outside to outside. Better yet, other than a minor elevation adjustment, 139s from Copper Creek, 140 Berger from the same were all pretty much perfect.
I know this is a data base of 1 instance but damn, they do nice work. Just the attention to detail involved in their knurled muzzle cap should tell you all you need to know.

Price for a new barreled action would be about $2130 with no trigger. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Does mean a lot.
