Rifle Scopes ACI install ?

I am going to install an ACI on my rifle

It has the badger 2 mount

It says paralell to the bore, can I level up the picatinny rail instead

want to get it right the first time

Hi

The picatinny rail is parallel enough.

There is always a error in using an ACI.
The perfect mount would be a picatinny parallel to the bore and the view axis through the scope. That is (as well as) not possible.

Let us count the error.
You have a 20MOA Rail and dialed the scope 50MOA (shooting 1000m with a 308).
The error is about 1°.

So don't care.
