The cartridge was original designed to work in the rem 700 action and the test rifles were built using the 700 action as well.

Our TAC338 is specifically designed for the Lapua sized boltface and uses a bigger (.750) diameter bolt. The larger boltface is marginal on the standard 700 size bolts. We will have some in stock in a few weeks and the pricing is on the website. I think overall you will be impressed with it.
