While I'm shopping around for a chrono. Does anyone have any real world data on MV for 168g factory hornady match out of a 20" barrel?

From what I've gathered from GOOGLING... i should be expecting somewhere around 2550/2560? This seems to somewhat match up with my actual elevation adjsutments while shooting.

I would expect more MV than that being I used to push a 178 to 2650 out of a 20" 308. But I could be wrong.

My 20" sends the 168 AMAX factory ammo out at about 2650fps.

I live in middle Georgia and have chrony'd an entire box of Hornady TAP 168 grain .308 ammo through my Remington 700 AAC-SD rifle.....20" barrel. The average FPS was just over 2600.

I just finished getting some data with the V3. 168g BTHP

Average of 14 rounds was 2598 with a SD of 27.9
Min 2554, Max 2368

the SD is less than impressive, even for factory ammo. however I was in a hurry to get back and mow the lawn, so I had no particular pattern between shots. so I'm not sure how that might have affected the numbers
