Rifle Scopes AD-Recon mounts

I’m looking for first hand experience with AD-Recon mounts on precision rifles. I’m looking at the Leupold MK5 for a lighter weight rifle and would like a one piece mount. Options are limited for the 35mm main tube and I’m not wanting to invest in a Spuhr if I don’t need to.
Will the recon mount hold zero long term?
Will it return to zero if the mount is removed from the rifle and put back on?

Just buy an ARC and be done with it.

Split ring and QD are not the preferred way to go with a precision rifle. Too many opportunities to introduce variables that will affect accuracy and precision.

Notice "preferred" is the word used.

Already have three ARC mounts and would do another but they only offer the 35mm in 1.5”
That’s to high for what I’m wanting.

Yep, same as Birddog, I've got a couple of them. To date, they're my favorite scope mount and I've been through quite a few over the years. +1 on how closely they hold zero after being taken off the rifle and put back on.
