Adj gas block for DPMS SASS?

There was a post a while back and to be honest I cant swear it was on the Hide but There is a company that will custom make a adj. gas block for about anything, Anybody remember that or know who it is?

Tired of fighting my SASS with the can! I've replaced Buffer and springs(Slash heavy buffer and tried a couple of different spgs.) and while it works better its still not 100% So I wanna try to find or have Adj.Block made.

I know JP manufactures an adjustable, but I think what you need is this:

I think the problem is the Taper on the barrel, Some kinda oddball size so there isnt many options.....Go figure?

Maybe be not? I just got off the phone with DPMS and they said the block is a .936 block and any of them should work!

FWIW, most of the CS reps at DPMS are kinda clueless as to their own stuff. I was one of the guys asking about the adjustable block in an earlier post. The big things I remember that may cause issue is that the SASS has dimples on the bottom and the tight clearances with the barrel OD and the rail ID. I changed my build plans, but i remember thinking that an adjustable gas tube would be the easiest method.

Palladin Machine in North (or South??) Carolina seems to have a good rep for making custom gas blocks.

Put an adjustable gas tube on my heavy barrel DPMS .260,

PROBLEM - the valve on the tube sits low , so the tube hole on the block is too low. ( i bent mine to fit, too the point i thought i F'ed it up (thought i felt the tube break)) - took it to the range (with old tube and tools, just in case) - but it was OK

Forces a lot of gas between the barrel and gas block but works

+1 for paladin machine service. I called them up and they said they will make me whatever I wanted. And they did. Two week turnaround.
