I am looking at getting a Grayboe Renegade real soon. I see some companies offer their own adjustable cheek piece hardware & installation but it turns a well priced stock into something more expensive than I want to pay for it right now.
I have been behind some A5's before but not enough to know if I would want the adjustable comb height or not. I know this affects everyone different, but in general, is the comb height of an A5 sufficient for most people, or for YOU?

It's too low for me with .885" rings and a Seekins base.

I use a stock pack with velcro strips on the underside to get the 1/2" of height I need.

You will probably need some kind of comb riser, a stock pack, piece of kydex or other solution will work. I made a saddle type comb riser for my Renegade and stuck it on with double sided tape, it works just fine.
