Adjusting iron sight ?

Picked up an old Savage 110 at the gunshow a few weeks ago. Took it out this weekend and rounds are hitting 3" left at 50. ? is, do I move the front sight to the left tomove impact to the right? How do I accomplish this?

Remember this saying for adj. sights. F.O.R.S. Front opposite, rear same. This pertains to the direction of adj. you want to shoot. I always end up using my fingers and imagining moving the front sight or the rear. It looks stupid, but works.

That was how I visualized it.

And if you don't have an adjustable back sight for up and down......if your shooting low your front sight goes down and if your shooting high you need to raise front sight up.
