Adjusting my A-5

Ok, so noob question but I searched and couldn't find anything on adjusting the Mcmillian A5 LOP. This is my first custom rifle and it feels like I have to reach around to cycle the bolt (while grabbing the expelled round -my normal technique) Do i just pull the screws in the buttstock and pull spacers or is it more complicated than that. I couldnt find any directions on line and didnt want to trial and error with this rifle.

Just loosen the screws, the spacers can be removed without removing the screws all the way.

You can see the way they are cut here (kind of). Lift them up and to the right, they'll wiggle out.
