Gunsmithing ADL to BDL?

Guys is converting a Rem 700 ADL to a BDL as simple as adding BDL bottom metal? I got a great deal on a McMillan BDL stock and have a Rem 700 ADL I would like to drop into it.

ADL boxes are taller than BDL.

You can cut an ADL down to fit if you don't want to buy a BDL box.

Keep your adl stuff with the original stock and just buy smaller mag box. Easier and they're cheap.

Brownell's has a how-to video on this.

Or go to Remingtons web site and it has an entire list of ever part needed to do this. It takes more than just the bottom metal.
