I just kind of blindly ordered an ADM mount, which is something I don't normally do. I don't have it yet, so what is the consensus on their products amongst the Hider's?

I have the ADM recon - sl. Excellent mount. It returns to zero every time I take it off and on. I hear they are now offering extended tabs on their quick releases. Hopefully you picked one up with those. I need to call them to find out if I can swap mine out.

Probably not, I ordered it from Midgay USA. Im glad everyone seems to like them.

I've had a PST 2.5-10x44 in an ADM mount for almost 2yrs and it has worked very well with repeatability. The only downside I can think of is that it left faint ring marks (*GASP*) on the tube. No functional issues though with the mount.

I prefer ADM over Larue. The ADM is easily adaptable to fit different rails. No tools needed to increase / decrease pressure against the rail. Very good return to zero performance too

ADM mounts are very good mounts, you will be very happy with them. LaRue are good I prefer ADM.

That's more than enough for me, considering who it's coming from. Thank you for the input.
It should be here tomorrow so I will post back after I get to use it some over the weekend.

I just bought an ADM Recon mount and I like it as well as my Larue mounts at at lower price point. Just make sure you tighten the bottom screws first. They tell you that in their instruction sheet. I somehow missed that and the mount rocked a little. The I re-read the instructions re-tightened the screws as per instructions and now the mount is rock solid.

Some one posted a pic I should have kept. Shows a LaDouche and an ADM mount from the rear of the mount. You could see how much better/more metal to metal contact between the two mounts.

No tools to adjust, stronger mount design, a shit ton of models. AND, they are reasonably priced.

+1 ADM

I have one and it's fine. I just can't stand the rings being split vertically. Setting up and leveling was a bitch compared to just being able to rest the scope on the lower half.

Use the deck of cards or feeler gauge method and it's no work at all to get the scope leveled. Also, ADM now makes a mount with conventionally split rings, the ADM Delta, in 1" and 30mm.

I have a bunch, they are my personal favorite. But ADM/Larue/Bobro is a bit like Chevy/Ford/Dodge.

Which one is the Ford? Because thats the best.

I like the 2 adm mounts i have. Just got a third off a vendor here for my pst 2-10. My 2 larue mounts seem to gouge the crap out of my uppers. User Rangerwalker had good pricing and seems to be a good dude to deal with.

I got the mount in and I am really impressed for the money. I will be switching between the USO with a clip-on and a dedicated thermal, so I will come back with my repeatability results.

For QD mounts, there are none better. I have two scopes in ADM mounts and a mount for my bipod. All are top notch, easy to adjust without tools (Huge selling point for me) and they dont chew up the underside of the rails (main reason I sold off all my larue stuff).

The contact surface of the ADM mount is about 5 or 6x's that of any other brand QD mount.

I started with Larue, went to spuhr and sold both.

Bought the adm delta. I'm super impressesed. SOCOM uses the delta on SCARs. I could not be happier. I got it right on the third try!

ADM Recons are good to go.
The clamp is way better than Larue's.
The Larue clamp has a very small bearing surface on the rail on the clamp side and repeated removal and installation of the mount will rub the finish off the rail.

I have spent close to $3k on Larue mounts over the last few years.

Fact is Larue mounts slide between rail lugs. The bearing surface of the knife-like lever is too thin. I've had words with Mr. Larue over on arfcom about the subject. And if you know Mark Larue, the thread went downhill pretty fast. :)

I have sold all my Larue mounts in favor of ADM. They just work better. My opinion of Mr. Larue has no bearing on my choice.
