ADM Recon or Recon-X

I know this is more of a question that many would say is better directed towards the optics section of the hide, but since the optic/mount combo will be going on my MA-Ten build, I felt it would better be directed here.

So, I will be running the Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 on the rifle stated above. Should I go with the ADM Recon or Recon-X mount?

I've used the Recon on both of my P308s and it's what I'd recommend.

Not a .308 but its a ADM recon-20MOA on a AR...

The front of the mount sits at the front of the receiver and works perfect for me.

ADM Recon on my 18" SPR with Bushy Elite 4200 3-12x44 as well. More than enough extension to get the eye relief. With the longer AR10 receiver should be even more so. When I was putting mine together I emailed SWFA and the Recon was what Chris recommended.

I have a adm recon and it moves the scope forward enough.

ADM recon on my 16" AR with a vortex viper pst. I think I could throw that gun out of a plane and that mount wouldn't budge. Two thumbs up for the recon!

I've always run Recon Xs, but both Recon and Recon xs will work for you. The important part is that it's an ADM mount

What is the difference in the two?

The x mounts the optic out further away from you than the recon does.
