Adult stock for 10/22

Gents,

I read the tread on shooting to 200 yards with your 10/22's and I'm in awe. Nice work, all.

I, too, shoot a 10/22 and would like to replace the factory plastic stock with something more adult sized. I was looking at Hogue. Any experience with them? What others do you all recommend? Budget for this is 100-150.

I had the houge stock and was not happy with. It was really flexible. Mine is in a Boyds varmint pro now. Really happy with that stock.

Magpul X-22 Hunter is within your budget also.

I had a hogue and it worked fine. Just changed it out for the Magpul X-22 and am very happy! The magpul comes with spacers to adjust the LOP, which is very nice for an adult stock.

I like the titan the best Leopard stock is like an AI, it's nice too if you like to work on things a bit.

I ended up putting a slip on recoil pad on my Hogue to extend the length a bit.

Nice idea. I haven't used a slip-on recoil pad in so long I really didn't even think of it.

I ended up with the Victor Titan from CS tactical. Hope it works. I'll let you all know.

I think you'll like the Titan, when I dropped my 10/22 into it the lockup was great, it felt great, and my accuracy was a lot more consistent.

My 10/22 is bedded in a laminate Boyd's thumbhole stock. I'm quite pleased with it, and with the Kidd barrel, it's competitive to 225 yards.

I have a different .22 rifle in a Boyd's tacticool/ pro varmint stock that I really enjoy.
