Advanced Sniper DVD

Hi There, I am new here.

I have a question:Is it worth getting the Advanced Sniper DVD by

Maj.John Plaster? Does it contain accurate info on sniping?

(I know nothing can replace "hands on" training.)

Read, Watch, Absorb everything you can and then practice, practice, practice...Or take some classes from a reputable training firm.

Before getting anything "advanced", it would serve you much better to learn and master the basic fundamentals of marksmanship. Why? I say that because without having a firm foundation for which you can build your knowledge upon, no amount of literature you can read or DVDs you can watch will be of any use.

It's like the adage...first, you must learn how to walk before you can learn how to run.

I recommend the Sniper's Hide Online Training as you will learn so much more than a single DVD will ever teach, even if you watch it 100 times.

If its the one I have seen its entertaining and yes get it but it doesnt mean you shoot the wings of a fly on rhino shit at 1000 yards .Learn the basics and there is plenty of free resource here if you care to read !

Most of the DVD's I have seen produced are high on entertainment value and minimal on helping you to develop skills.

I know nothing about this specific DVD.

If you want to be a sniper, and your young enough join the military.

I say leave sniping to snipers.

I feel his newer book has a lot of useful information for the price.
