Gunsmithing Advice for porting 1911 barrel

So I'm building another 1911, this is no new thing to me, but I want to port the barrel this time, something different... Any advice??

I'd buy a Schuemann hybrid barrel. I have two that I built in 45 ACP. The hybrid porting is very effective at reducing recoil. Here's the link to the website: http://www.schuemann.com/

As above or possibly a govt frame, commander slide with a single port or side port forcing cone comp to get back to govt length

thanks for the responses... guess I should have clarified more.. I have the barrel and slide, slide is already cut, I am ready to make holes in the barrel now, I was looking for advise on procedure/safe way to keep down the burring that will occur in on the rifling...

You making round ports or slitting them?
