I just purchased the DPMS 308 SASS, I would love to hear input on the best ideal suppressor and recommended round. Plan it being a hog killing machine, but also wanted the long range capability for big game hunting when a distance shot is a must. Would like to hear from those with experience with rifle in particular but happy to learn anything i can from those qualified.

I have a DPMS SASS. At the moment I run a Gemtech HVT QD on it but have not been all that pleased about the randomness of the patterns. If I were to do it all over again I would have gotten a Thunderbeast 30BA or 30P-1...I have the 30P-1 on a Bolt gun and absolutely love it. It is predicable and very accurate.

I would use supersonic bullets to kill animals. To me it just a humane way to hunt; however, I am sure there are others that have done it but just not me. I may not be the right guy to ask that question to.
