Aero precision notified me that it is out of stock on the upper I have placed in my cart. So I am upset and looking at RRA competition R3 18" complete upper with 17" handguard fluted ss bbl and tuned double chamber muzzle break with BCG charging handle . IT is $645 shipped. Any body have anything good of bad to say about this RRA upper?

Because he doesn't know any better. RRA has been trash for 2 decades and there was a time when they were a handful of companies that even made rifles. Mostly people jumping on jocks due to DEA contract or their hi power match rifles. They are a non factor in the gun world and I could name twenty other places to order a complete upper from before them.

I have a RRA Predator Pursuit; just a 20in barrel and 15in handguard. It has shot unbelievable (1/3 MOA) well at times with random lots of loaded ammunition. However, more consistently its 3/4-1 MOA with Hornady 55g - I believe this rifle needs to be hand loaded to experience its full potential, if not, 1 MOA can be expected. I run mine about 900 rds before it needs oiled. Never has it jammed a piece of brass, not even once. If there is something hands down better out there I wouldnt even know how so..? More accurate I suppose, lighter? I dunno for the money I like it. Maybe Id get Wilson Combat upper since I have alot more money these days.

Go fuck yourself.

But given that the choice was between an Aero with a POS BA barrel or an RRA, I'll take the RRA....................neither is a good choice, but RRA is the lesser of 2 P'sOS.

You did manage to find a shred of reality in referencing WOA barrels, just sayin'

I have woa and rra varmint barrels along with a Keystone accuracy Varmint barrel. I like the Keystone Krieger barreled upper the best but it’s considerably more money. Then I would buy the WOA due to quality and actually talking to John Hollinger on the phone (always nice to talk to the man himself). RRA is also a solid choice in imo. It’s hard to go wrong with any 3 of those.

I just bought a 24' Varmint complete upper including bcg and charging handle from them. For $660, using IMI 69gr factory ammo, nothing should shoot this freaking good.
