Night Vision Aether Optics Specter Panos

These are not going to be cheap, they were built from the ground up to compete in the highend pano market.

Side by side vs GPNVGs, the Aethers have a wider FOV, yet at the same time has better image integration between channels, as well as eye relief and eye box. Its almost like one has cutting edge optical design, while the other was done more than a decade ago.

So wow, the build quality of these things is impressive....just need to wait for darkness....damned daylight savings!

Don’t think there will be standalone housings any time soon - complete units through TNVC for now is my guess. A housing swap for me and some other folks was the perk of being an early adopter I guess.
Damn that's a bummer, unless TNVC is somehow exempt from L3's new tube limitations that means they're already starting out of the gate with lower specs available.

TNVC's one of the larger dealers. They definitely have L3 tubes now, probably will have them till closer to end of this year.

L3 vs elbits in performance are on the marginal return spectrum.

When/if actually L3 stops standalone sales. "Pic your poison" L3 tubes bottleneckd by an older optical (decade plus), Aether panos gated by thin filmed tubes, but better fov and optical performance.
