Affordable bino better than Vortex Diamondback?

An older compact Nikon bino that I keep in my glove box recently gave up the ghost. My wants in a replacement are roof prism, 8X or less, phase corrected, and good eye relief/exit pupil size. I've looked through the vortex and was happy with it. Any other suggestions? I'd like to keep it around 150 but I could go higher if there is something substantially better in the 200s.

Also would consider a monocular as I'm pretty much blind in one eye anyways.

check out the 8x42 ZRS HD. It has dielectric prism coating, Magnesium metal body, phase coating for about $200. This binoculars is one step up from their VISTA. The VISTA seems to be identical to Diamondback on all specs

I would suggest a look thru/at the Minox BF 8x42 BR Phase Coated and good quality. For the price it is tough to beat

After reading around here a bunch, I just ordered a pair of Vortex Diamondback 7x36 bino's. Cameraland was quick and easy to deal with. Can't wait to get them.
