looks like Pakistan and Afghanistan (Taliban) are exchanging fire. both sides say the other started it. seems to be some problem with Taliban causing grief in Pakistan. more SW Asia fun and games.

And therein lies the foolishness of the PNAC mission statement and logistical implementation, aka, 9/11, our new "Pearl Harbor."
We are dealing with people who were born and will die fighting. In fact, as bin Laden once said, we in the West value life and they value death.
And potatohead, or more importantly, the dunderheads controlling him, made a shit show out of the whole thing.
That being said, our involvement there made have delayed the inevitable nuke war that they want so badly. When we were there, we could keep them occupied with the GWOT. Now, they have the time to concentrate on the total destruction they desire so much.
