I've linked over 10k rounds of various flavors of military contract ammo over the past month and I had 6 backwards primers in roughly 4k of Federal XM193 (2008), 5 badly dented cases, and a few bullets that were seated too deep.

I've never had a single issue with Wolf ammo in all the years I've been shooting it. It may be cheap ammo, but you don't have to worry about it not going bang.

Bad 308win Wolf lot blew up few rifles here couple years ago. Would take Lake City ammo over russian cheapo any day and twice on Monday.

Glad you like it. Only thing I use it in is none NFA Russian weapons. I've watched Wolf with my own eyes trash a few receivers along the way. Even know a few guys at Knob Creek that tried to save a few pennies with it. Nothing like loosing a $25K belt gun over 2-300 bucks.

Anybody can screw up ammo.

Years ago, in the late 70s early 80s, when CMP (then DCM) furnished ammo for LEG or EIC matches, we were issued a lot of LC M72 for the Garands. They went POP, blew the primers out but wouldnt go off. Upon examination we found that they didn't have a flash hole in the primer pocket.

I was running sniper schools for the Guard at the time and had plenty of M72 for our C/Ds so we were allowed to finish the match.

But it just goes to show, anybody, or company, can screw up.

Lake City has almost blown up my belt fed.
I have had 2 (that I know of) cases rupture right in the middle.
Craziest thing I've seen. The LC cases split literally blew in half. It looked like someone cut them perfectly in half with a Dremil tool. I guess everyone could screw up ammo, but I have yet to have a problem with any Russian shit. I've shot thousands of BB and Wolf and it seems I always end up having problems with the expensive LC Mil Spec ammo.
The Wolf mil spec (brass) is top notch ammo. It higher than the LC almost though.

Don't get me wrong even after all the problems I've had recently with LC, I still prefer it over Wolf, but I would gladly shoot Wolf through my belt feds
